Terry was born Jan. 23, 1936, in Harrisburg, Nebraska, to Orpha Scoville and John R. Cross. He attended high school, and on Dec. 23, 1964, he married Marilyn Robeson in Douglas, Wyoming. He lived in Nebraska and Wyoming.
Terry was a rancher and had a backhoe business. He was a member of the Eagles and Elks, and attended the Baptist church. Terry enjoyed team roping, fishing, hunting, camping, and hunting for antiques.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Jessie Hottell, Mazie Dykes, Marjorie Lamm, and brothers Bud Cross, Bill Cross and Sam Cross.
Terry is survived by his wife Marilyn, sons Danny Cross (Kari-Ann) of Arizona, Tim Cross of Wyoming, Jim Cross (Joann) of Wyoming, and Neil Cross (Kristy) of Wyoming; daughter Shelley Edwards (Stan) of Wyoming; sister-in-law Irene Cross; sister Sylvia Soule of Nebraska; and brother-in-law Pete Dykes of Wyoming.
Also surviving Terry are six grandchildren: Charlie Cross (Trena), Kyle Cross, Nick Cross, Kori Rice (Matt), Justin Cross, Ryan Edwards (Lacey); and seven great-grandchildren: McKenna Cross, Cayden Cross, Joseph, Talisha Cross, Kylynn, Kevin, Hunter Cross, and Dakota Rice.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 15, at the Powell Eagles Lodge, with Kurt McNabb officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
