Mr. Ailshouse was a retired tool engineer at a U,S, Naval weapons plant. He was a member of Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Rudolph Ailshouse; one son, David Ailshouse of Seattle; two grand-children, Victoria Tomseth of Brier, Wash.; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. His parents were Edward and Effie Critchlow Ailshouse.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rosebower Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Terry Vasseur will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
