Henry Joyner married Cynthia Gardner Parsons, the eldest daughter born to Amos and Patsy (Gardner) Persons, in 1827. He was a Salem merchant.
He died January 14, 1843, the same day that his wife gave birth to their daughter, Emily Elizabeth.
