Mimi Ann Sackedis, of Riverside, NJ, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. She was 87.

She was born in Eldorado, TX; the daughter of the late Ross and Ethel McAngus. She was the devoted wife to James Sackedis who predeceased her in 1998.

Mimi served as a crossing guard for the Holly Hills Elementary Schools and volunteer at the Westampton Fire Police. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, gardening, and watching the Food Network and game shows. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was a devoted mother of Lucy (Daryl) Bobrofsky, the late Kathleen (Martin) Sackedis, and Evangeline (Dave) Matthews; loving grandmother of Halley (Roger) Beam, Nick (Katherine) Matthews, Kim Bobrofsky, Charity (John) Roohr, and Carlie Matthews; loving great-grandmother of Caleb, Rylee, Kaitlyn, Bently, John III, Derby, Alayna, Emma, Rhiannon, Cory and Lucas; beloved sister of Bonnie Hooker; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends may attend her viewing on Thursday, March 7 from 10-12 PM at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. Funeral services will be held at 12 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
