I never knew my gr-grandfather. He died before I was born of sugar diabetes. But I've always been told by my Granny that he called her "my baby doll". She has nothing but fond memories of him. She told me a story that when she was a child he let her sit on his knee & take a sip of his coffee. That formed a special bond between them.
He was the son of John Bernard White and fathered & raised a total of 15 children.
Death certificate states his cause of death was sugar diabetes.
