Huldah Aldrich was born November 6, 1680 at Mendon, Worcester County, Massachusetts to Jacob and Huldah Thayer Aldrich. She married Samuel Wilkinson Jr. April 13, 1697 at Mendon and their children were: Huldah, Josiah, Samuel, Zibiah, Patience, Mercy, David, Jacob, Israel, William, Ruth, Caleb, Plain, Peleg and Ichabod. After the death of Samuel Jr. in 1726, things were very difficult for Huldah and eventually Ichabod was sent to live with his sister Mercy and her husband Benjamin Thayer. I'm not sure if it was before or after Huldah's death, but she died less than two years after Samuel Jr., December 5, 1727 at Smithfield, Providence County, Rhode Island. She was buried in the Friends' Cemetery at Woonsocket, Providence County, Rhode Island, aged forty-seven years.
