TOBACCOVILLE - Mr. Donald G. Looper, 79, of Tobaccoville passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at his home. Mr. Looper was born on February 1, 1940 in Forsyth County to the late John Looper and Sally Goodman Looper. In addition to his parents, Mr. Looper was also preceded in death by his wife Joyce Phillips Looper; a brother JC Looper; daughter-in-law Barbara Givens Looper and a sister Mary Brown. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, including two sons Keith (Regeni) Looper of Mocksville and Larry Gray (Melanie) Looper of Yadkinville; a daughter Rhonda (Jim) Hunter of Newport; 6 granddaughters; and 10 great-grandchildren. A funeral service for Mr. Looper will be held at 12 pm on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Huff Funeral Home with the Pastor Josh Boles officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Huff Funeral Home. Huff Funeral Home of East Bend is respectfully serving the Looper family.
