2018 Jul 17 – Bad Axe - Delores P Krozek was born Saturday 25 Jul 1925 to John & Mary (Kolanko) Krozek. She was born and raised on the family farm in Lincoln Township in the Rapson area. The family farm which is still in the family will qualify as a ‘Centennial Farm’ Monday 05 Apr 2021. She married Casimer Joseph 'Cash' Cook Saturday 15 Feb 1941 in St Joseph Church in Rapson. After his death she married Peter C Rambo Wednesday 15 Sep 1999 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe. In 1957, the family moved to Cadillac. While living in Cadillac, she was a retail sales clerk for Ace Hardware. In the summer of 1964, the family moved back to Bad Axe. She continued as a retail sales clerk at the Polewach Department Store. For 19 years she was able to winter away to North Fort Myers in Florida. During the summer, she would make a few trips and relax at her former property with residence in Cadillac, where she had a life-time lease. She was an avid Detroit Tiger fan, enjoyed ‘word-search’ puzzles. She especially enjoyed spending time with her Thursday morning Coffee group and with her close friend, Nettie. Her Florida neighbors and friends were very near and dear to her heart with whom she gathered for potluck dinners and card playing, her favorite being Pinochle. She was the last surviving member of a special group of family members and friends named ‘The Young-Timers’. She left many behind to treasure her memory.

Dolores ‘Dee’ P (Krozek) Cook-Rambo, of Bad Axe was gently taken to be with her Lord on Tuesday 17 Jul 2018 at the age of 92 y 11 m 23 d. Survivors included 1 son, Cash John Cook of Kalkaska; 2 daughters, Mary & David Stark of Cadillac, and Barbara Partaka of Bad Axe; 1 brother, John & Frances Krozek of Kinde; 2 sisters Helen Zagorski of Warren, and Sophie Hoin of Roseville; 6 grandchildren Charles & Rob Durr of Troy, Michael Partaka, Kasey Partaka, and Sara Partaka all of Bad Axe, Chantelle & James Kroll of Grand Rapids, and Bradley & Amy Stark of Tustin; 14 great-grandchildren Matthew, Adam, Kay-Leigh, Carter, Seth, Rebecca, Emily, Michael, Jr, Alayna, Alyshea, Christopher, Chloe, Malisa and Raydin; 2 sisters-in-law Christine Krozek of Bad Axe, Dolores & Marv Oswald of Warren; 5 stepchildren Craig & Pat Rambo, Scott & Mindy Rambo, Lynn & Don Musolff, Jill & Lee Howie and Susan & Tom Kaczuk; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Mary; and husbands, Cash 20 Jun 1987, and Peter 09 nov 2007; 2 by sons-in-law Charles ‘Bob’ Durr and Ronald ‘Ron’ Partaka; 1 sister Eleanor Krivosheff; 6 brothers Walter & Marie Krozek, Stanley & Beatrice Krozek), Edward & Krozek Adriann , Ernest Krozek , Clarence & Michalina Krozek, and Leonard Krozek; and 2 brothers-in-law John Zagorski and Joe Hoin.

Funeral services were Monday 23 Jul 2018 (her birthday) at St Hubert Parish-Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bad Axe.

Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Bad Axe.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Dee's name were to be directed to St Hubert Parish, Courtney Manor or the charity of one's own choosing. Arrangements were made by Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe. Memorial contributions were to be directed to the family of Dolores ‘Dee’ P Cook-Rambo.
