Mr. Castor was a Marine Corps recruiter in Kansas City for three years. He retired from the Marines as a warrant officer in 1957 after 27 years of service. Later he was a salesman for the Sooner Construction Equipment Co., Oklahoma. He was former president of the Rockwood Country Club. He was a member of the Independence Bassmasters Club and the Marine Mustang Club. He was a member of the Englewood Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his wife, Madelynne O. Castor of the home; a stepson, James A. Hayward, Independence; and four grand-children. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Newcomer's Ott & Mitchell Chapel; burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
