Jacqueline H. Stache, 88, lifelong Green Bay resident, died peacefully Thursday, April 21, 2016. She was born on January 13, 1928, in Green Bay to Clement and Frances (Centen) Bouche.

Jacqueline graduated from Green Bay East High School, Class of 1946. On May 1, 1948, she was united in marriage to Arnold Stache at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral. He preceded her in death on July 6, 1970. Jacqueline was a devoted mother to her six children and loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a longtime member of St. Joseph Parish in Green Bay and served as a Cub Scout den leader for her boys in her younger days. In her free time, Jacqueline enjoyed doing ceramic work and crocheting afghans for her family and friends, and playing Bridge.

Jacqueline is survived by six children and their spouses, Cheryl Schmieder, Francis Stache, Thomas and Fay Stache, Theresa and Rob Schmidt, Jay and Sherri Stache, Gary Stache; 13 grandchildren and their spouses, Scott (Meg), Melissa(fiancé, Cory), Lisa (Bill), Kari (Andy), Andy (Megan), Amy (Josh), Nicole, Jayson, Adam, Noah, Jaxson, Aaron and Heather; 14 great-grandchildren, Ean, Erin, Samantha, Maggie, Madison, William III, Gabe, Lily, William, Anna, Jace, Colton, Shania and Tiana, and another great-grandson yet to be born; a brother-in-law, Robert Wright; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; her parents; an infant brother, Clement Jr.; and two sisters, Jean Wendt and Mary Wright; Shanon Krystof.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave. from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 24. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Visitation will continue at St. Joseph Catholic Church, corner of Ninth St. and 12th Ave., from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with Rev. Donald Everts officiating. Burial will be in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
