Thomas Edison Norwood, 67, of 523 N. Mangum St. died Sunday in his home after a brief illness.
He was a native of Durham.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Norwood is survived by his sister, Mrs. Ovela [sic] N. Capps of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews.
