Billie J. Giles, 73, longtime resident of Amarillo, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2000, in Casper, Wyo.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Raymond Bowlin of Bushland Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements in Wyoming are by Bustard's Funeral Home and Crematory. Local arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street.

Mrs. Giles was born in Ballinger and graduated from Turkey High School at Turkey. From 1940 until 1977, she lived in Amarillo, where she worked for White & Kirk Department Store and Northwest Texas Hospital.

She married LeRoy Giles in 1948 at Amarillo. He died in 1997. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Susan Giles.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Green of Casper; a brother, J.R. Hulen of Nashville, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
