Funeral services for Murry Edward Gay, 43, former resident, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the West Amarillo Christian Church.
Rites were conducted by Rev. Marvin Brewer, pastor, and burial was in the Llano Cemetery by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home.
Mr. Gay, son of Mrs. Maude Gay of Childress, died at 7 p.m. Friday of an apparent heart attack.
He was a comptroller for the Air Speed Oil Company in Amarillo.
Besides his mother, other survivors are his wife, Annette, a son Greg of the home; a brother, Jerry of Kent, Washington.
