Joseph Jackson Ross was born January 28, 1939 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Anna Belle Watson Andrews Ross and Joseph Ross.

He passed away January 22, 2019 in Roy City, Utah at Heritage Park Health Care where he had been living for the past couple of years.

“Jack” was cherished by his brothers Otto, Ray and Eugene Andrews and his sisters Beth Henrie, Merle Croft and Sherren Perry. “Jack” was adored as their baby brother. Our beloved father is survived by sons, Tharren (Jackie) Ross, Steven (Asano) Ross, Corey Ross; and daughters Michelle (John) Manley, Jennifer (Shane) Smith and Destiny Bardsley; 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Some of the wonderful things Joe’s “Jack’s” family will always remember about him was his love for his family. He worshiped his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and had a special fondness for babies. He worked as a machinist for many years and could fix or build anything. This was evidenced in the home in Ammon, Idaho that he built himself. If he didn’t know how to build or fix something he taught himself how to do it.

He loved Heavenly Father and although not an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in his later years, he instilled a love of the gospel in all of his children and had a very strong testimony.

Joe Daddy always dreamed of moving to Mexico…one day.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 Monday, February 25, at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, Roy, UT 84067. We will then proceed to the graveside service at 2 pm, at the Hooper Cemetery, 5301 S. 6300 W. Hooper, UT 84315
