DeLoy was raised in Mayfield. He served his country during WWII in the Army and was involved in the Battle of the Bulge. He worked at the Gyp in Sigurd for many years both on the production line and in the quarry.
He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served in many different callings.
He is survived by: wife, Linda Whitlock of Richfield; children: Charlotte (Lynn) Quilter of Smithfield, Brent (Debbie) Whitlock of Sacrament, CA, Anne (Gary) Peterson of Ogden; many grand and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Della, he is also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 12:00 Noon in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, 50 South 100 West, where friends may call on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the V.F.W. Sevier Post #5050 and the Utah Honor Guard.
