WALTER'S OBITUARY
Walter Dale Cremeans, 56, passed away peacefully on Monday morning February 18, 2019 surrounded by family. Walter was born May 10, 1962 in Huntington, WV son of the late Clifford and Gertrude Nicely Cremeans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil Cremeans and Rick Cremeans; and two sisters, Barb Chinn and Naomi Cremeans. Walter is survived by his wife, Melissa Crum Cremeans of Ashland, KY; three children, Dakota “Cody” Meade, Chantel Cremeans and Lavaeh Cremeans all of Ashland, KY; five brothers, Steve Cremeans, Roy Cremeans, Clifford Cremeans, Raymond Cremeans and Jimbo Cremeans all of Huntington, WV; four sisters Kay Shepard, Ann Allen, and Joan Barker all of Huntington, WV, and Becky Dean of Barboursville, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews. Walter never knew a stranger and was known and loved by many. He was a great husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed his family time, singing karaoke and doing his woodcrafts. He left us all with wonderful memories and we are thankful for the time God gave us together. In keeping with his love of life and joyful soul we granted his wishes, Cody and I had our private time with his and told him good bye one last time to get our closure. Walter’s wishes were to be cremated and have no services. At a later date and time we will be hosting a celebration of life service to honor his memory and the other family members that have gone on to soon, but never forgotten. If you wish to attend the family celebration please contact Melissa Cremeans or one of the other family members so we can include you. Thank you all, each and everyone of you for your condolences, prayers and comforting words during this time. We love each and everyone of you. Walter is now our guardian angel and guiding us in every step of the way. He will be greatly missed and was loved by all. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
