She is shown in Pleasant Grove, Greenwood County, Kansas on August 17,1865 per the Kansas state census. Robert Brazel and two of their children are shown in the same location in the 1870 census without Aquilla. Some Ancestry users notate a death year of 1868, this is unconfirmed but her death is assumed to be between late 1866- 1870. A gravesite is unknown. Robert later moved to Texas where he is buried.
