Josephine Marez age 91, of Clovis, NM, passed away Tuesday February 19, 2019 at Clovis Healthcare and Rehab Center in Clovis. Visitation will be held Monday February 25, 2019 at 9:30AM to 10:300AM at Westbrook Baptist Church, 1420 N Thornton St, Clovis. Services to follow at 11:00AM with Pastor Furgus Tunnell officiating. Burial will be held at Mission Gardens of Memories.
Josephine was born June 22, 1927 to, Moises and Apolonia (De Apodaca) Apodaca in Deredomodero, NM. She married Luis V. Marez on August 12, 1945 in Encino, NM. Josephine was a homemaker, and devoted to her family. She loved to sew, cooking, reading, and enjoyed word search and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include; two sons; Ronnie Marez, Henry Marez both of Clovis, NM, three daughter; Mary Ann Marez-Shell of Fontana, CA, Maria Inman of Clovis, NM, Linda Miller of (David) of South Carolina, four grandchildren; Nathan Shell, Daniel Shell, Aylisha Almond, Timothy Miller, four great grandchildren; Noah, Chloe, Kennedy, Jessie James. She is preceded in death by her parents; Moises and Apolonia Marez, husband; Luis Marez, daughter; Celcilia Lovato, two son-in-laws; Paul Lovato, Larry Shell, two granddaughters; Sara Shell, Candi McNeal.
