Norman E. "Speck" Seward, 78, of 665 N. Eighth Ave. died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at his home.
He was born Jan. 10, 1928, in Rushville, Ill., to Vail and Kathryn (Bollingbrook) Seward. He first married Jessie Ball in 1949. He later married Kathryn Hill in 1981. They both preceded him in death.
An infant daughter; two sisters, Elsie Williams and Margie; two brothers, William and Edgar Seward; and his companion, Norma Bivens also preceded him in death.
Survivors include five daughters, Vicki (George) Spahn and Lisa Pace, both of Canton, Nancy (Jackie) Clark of St. David, Debbie (Roger) Kruzan and Tonja Spooner of Liverpool; and one son, Richard Seward of Canton.
He first worked at Hiram Walker and Pabst Blue Ribbon, and last worked for International Harvester Company in Canton for 30 years, retiring in 1979.
Private family burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
