Millie Deloros York Robbins, age 87, of Asheboro passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Randolph Hospice House.

Mrs. Robbins was born in Guilford County on May 13, 1931 to Guy Hampton and Ada Newsom York.

She was formerly employed with Klopman Mills and retired as administrator of the Calvary United Methodist Church Daycare. Millie loved her church, the former Calvary United Methodist Church, where she was a church officer.

In addition to her parents, Millie was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, J.C. Robbins, sister, Helen King, and brothers, Marvin York and Larry York.

Millie enjoyed living at Lake Tillery where she loved skiing and boating. She and J.C. loved to travel. She enjoyed her nieces and nephews greatly.

She is survived by her brothers, Guy York and wife Nancy of Asheboro and Vaughn York and wife Debbie of High Point; sisters-in-law, Jettie York of Asheboro and Donna York of Kernersville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 12:00-1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Frank Ramos officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
