Geneva A. Eubank (nee Schrader), age 75, of Lorain, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Kingston of Vermilion.
Born on February 15, 1940 in Grassy Creek, WV, Geneva came to Lorain in 1968 and has lived here ever since.
For many years, she worked in housekeeping at various companies, including Autumn Aegis Retirement Community, Fisher Big Wheel and most recently, First Federal of Lorain. Geneva was a member of Christian Life Church.
She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, listening to Blue Grass and Country music and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Glenn Ray; her children, Paula (Greg) Weaver, of Sheffield Township and Marvin (LaVonne) Eubank, of Senatobia, MS; her grandchildren, Kaleb, Kody and Korrie Eubank and Sarah Green; great-grandchildren, Jaiden Perry and Reagan Cox; and her siblings, Jesse, Duane, Timothy, Henry, James and George Schrader, Rosemary Barker, Martha Sue (Bill) Gratz; Nancy Jelinek; Gladys Deck and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sally (nee Payne) Schrader; her father, Okey Schrader; her step-mother, Ruby Schrader; and her siblings, Okey Schrader Jr., Shirley Kilkenny, and Freddie Schrader.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, where funeral services will be on Thursday, June 25th at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Wallace Justice will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
