Charles graduated from Tomball High School as part of the Class of 1953.  After graduation he enlisted in the Army and served for 4 years as a Communications Officer specializing in Morse Code.

After the service, he ran his own milk hauling business, transporting the dairy from the local dairy farms to the pasteurizing operators.

Afterwards he worked at Central Freight Line as a Commercial Truck Driver.  One of his main routes was from Houston to Dallas round trip, which he ran for 32 years.

After his retirement from Central Freight Line, he taught in the Houston Community College System as a Commercial Truck Driving Instructor for over 10 years.

Throughout his life, Charles was a quiet and kind man, who loved God, Family and Friends.
