Susan K. “Suzie” Andrew, age 61, of Livingston passed away unexpectedly on Thursday Feb. 14, 2019 at her residence in Livingston. She born on April 10, 1957 in Watertown, WI the daughter of Harry and Genevieve (Trankle) Andrew.
Sue graduated from Iowa-Grant High School and decided to make Livingston her home. She worked as a hairdresser at Shear Country in Livingston until being employed at Land’s End in Dodgeville. After learning of some health concerns, Sue babysat for various families throughout the Livingston area. Susie Homemaker could do it all. She was an awesome cook, baker, crafts, mosaic pottery, quilting, making jellies and jams and enjoyed working in her garden tending to her flowers and strawberries. Sue was sure to support all community functions usually bring her wonderful pies and other goods to be auctioned to benefit others. Suzie was always sure to take a vacation to someplace warm and fell in love with Jamaica. She was a strong willed women who enjoyed helping others and had an infectious smile. Her dedication to all her family and her community will forever be cherished.
Sue is survived by her beloved daughter Megan of Livingston, four precious grandchildren; Jayden and Camryn Andrew, and Shaylee and Madelyn Husom, brother Dr. Mark Andrew of Webster City, IA, niece Jessica (Nate) Graney, two nephews Brian (Ashley) Andrew and Benjamin Andrew, along with many very special aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Suzie was preceded in death by her father Harry on Oct. 6, 1993, mother Genevieve on Feb. 1, 2006, sister-in-law Marcia Andrew, and a very dear aunt Carol (John) Andrew along with other special aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday Feb. 19, 2019 at the Livingston United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Rock Church Cemetery rural Livingston. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church on Tuesday morning. The Soman-Larson Funeral Home of Montfort is assisting the family.
