Neldon Lott Vance, 86, passed away on February 14, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Neldon was born June 19, 1932 to Angus Vance and Rhea Lott Vance. He grew up in Tooele, Utah on a poultry farm. He began working at Tooele Army Depot while attending Henager Business College. Later he worked at Hill Air Force Base, retiring after 42 years of working for the government.

He was called to serve a 2-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Los Angeles California Mission. After fulfilling a faithful mission, and upon return home, three weeks later, he married his sweetheart, Norma Lynn Ashton, in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity on November 28, 1955.

He spent his whole life in the service of our Heavenly Father in various callings. He was blessed to be called as an ordinance worker in the Bountiful, Utah Temple. When he wasn't helping or serving his family, you would find him watching the western movies, cheering for the Utah Jazz, or camping.

Neldon is survived by his wife, sweetheart and eternal companion, Norma Lynn Ashton Vance and their eight children: Tina Caudill (Dave), Douglas Vance (Taunna), Robert Vance (Ann), Barry Vance (Jane), Loreen Kimber (Chuck), Janice Wilkinson (Joel), Marilyn Young (Scott), David Vance (Corin). Also 32 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Blaine Vance; and his sister, Valene Bonner.

Funeral services will be on February 19, 2019 at 11:30 a.m., at the Ponds Park Ward Chapel, 9 West 550 South Kaysville UT. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Interment Lehi City Cemetery.
