Mrs. Marion Lee Bailey Nicholson, age 82, a resident of Jane Lew, departed this life Saturday January 26, 2019 in the United Hospital Center in Clarksburg. She had been in declining but death was unexpected.
She born April 15, 1936, at Camp Creek WV, a daughter of the late Leroy Paul and Leola Mae Haggerty Bailey, on April 3, 1959 at Clarksburg, WV. She was united in marriage to Carl Leon Nicholson who preceded her in death on December 16, 2011.
She is survived by ten children, Kenneth Paul Nicholson, Jefferey Lynn Nicholson, Carla Sue Ward, Louis Edward Nicholson, Gregory Carl Nicholson, Brian Keith Nicholson, Peggy Ann Nicholson, Robert Allen Martin and Steven Lee Martin. Additional survivors include one, sister June Balenger; three special grandchildren, Byron, Darin and Dude Nicholson and two special great-grandchildren Grace and Eli Nicholson. Other survivors include several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Nicholson was a graduate of the Princeton High School and a homemaker. She was a Baptist by Faith and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Per her request there will not be any services and her remains will be cremated.
The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Marion Lee Bailey Nicholson.
