James Haworth Aye Jr. was born in Illinois in 1907. He is the son of Emma and James H. Aye. Jimmy worked as an actor and writer in Hollywood. He appeared in the films My Man Godfrey and Brother Orchid. His older sister was actress Maryon Aye. In 1926 Jimmy married Margaret Vredenburg and had a daughter named Sally Ann. Sadly Sally Ann died in 1933 at the age of seven. In 1935 Jimmy married actress Edna Waldron. They were divorced and planning to remarry when she died in 1940. He married Virginia McCarty in 1943. Jimmy died in January of 1979 at the age of seventy-one.
