MORRIS GENE PEGG, age 76, of Bloomington Indiana passed away on Tuesday November 7, 2017 at IU Health & Hospice House. Morris was born in Owen County on July 28, 1941 to Russell and Ruth (Hudson) Pegg.
Morris was a member of the Mt Olivet Christian Church. He was a truck driver for over forty years. Morris enjoyed feeding the wildlife, spending time with this grandchildren, and loved his family.
Morris is survived by his wife, Irma (Trader) Pegg, whom he married on January 1, 1965, daughter, Misty (Dennis) Abrams, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Morris is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert Pegg, Richard Pegg, and sister, Virginia May Pegg.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday November 10, 2017 at Mt Olivet Christian Church in Spencer. Dennis Abrams and Bill Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Chambersville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Mt Olivet Church on Friday November 10, 2017 at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm until the time of the service.
