Gaylene is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Ralph N. Bynum, Sr. of Pasadena, TX. Gaylene is also survived by her 4 children; Ralph (Corky) Bynum, Jr and wife, Ruth Ann of Deer Park, Tracy Mason and husband, Jim Mason II of Pasadena, James Bynum and Kim of League City, Stephen Bynum and Laurie of Pearland. Gaylene is additionally survived by 10 grandchildren that she loved greatly and was so very proud of James Bynum, Jr and Jennie, Brian Johnson and wife, Tifany, John Michael Bynum and wife, Amy, Jennifer Pigott and husband, Jason, Brandon Johnson and wife, Amy, Michael Wayne Bynum, Dillon Chmarney, and Madelyn Chmarney, along with 13 great grandchildren, with 2 more on the way. Gaylene is survived by her brother, Bill Weaver and wife, Linda of Burnet, her sister, Linda Kindrick and husband, Bill of Needville, her brother Gary Weaver and wife, Jane of Shore Acres, along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.
Gaylene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Gaylene loved square dancing and was a member of Strawberry Squares and Houston Round Dance Council. She was an avid fan of George Strait, Texas A&M Aggies, the Houston Texans, and NASCAR. She will be so greatly missed by all who knew her.
The services will be under the direction of Paul Corl.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at First United Methodist Church of Pasadena, 1062 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, Texas 77504, with the funeral service to follow immediately after.
Following the funeral service, the graveside and interment will be held in Weimar Masonic Cemetery located off of Masonic Cemetery Rd in Weimar, Texas.
