Iris Mae (Nee: Dunn) Selfridge / Schulman was died April 2nd, 1975. Beloved Teacher in Alachua County at Santa Fe and Gainesville High Schools, Former wife of Sam Schulman and Survived by 2nd husband Ralph Gordon Selfridge, Daughters Marjory "Leah" Michaels (Nee Schulman) and Elizabeth Doubrava (Nee Schulman) and Son John E. Schulman, As well as her mother Daisy Dunn, 5 sisters and 1 bother and 1 brother who passed before her.

Iris touched, strengthened and inspired the lives of thousands of students and hundreds of colleagues. She left us all way too young from heat disease at the age of 48. Sadly she never met her grandchildren but her intelligence, wit and desire to educate has lived on in her children and grandchildren.
