James Henry Brown, son of William David Brown and Mary Hunter Currence, married Lucy Ann Sarah Dunn 11 February 1847 in Fayette County, Illinois. He died at a military hospital in Tennessee due to wounds received in the Civil War. His brother George Brown went to Tennessee and brought his body back to Illinois for burial in Brown Cemetery.
