William died 10/15/1871, #22547858. Lucinda married John Nixon 11/25/1878. He died 6/28/1887 and is buried next to his 1st wife, Hannah, #6042619 and #6280261. In 1900 Lucinda Carpenter Nixon was living with her daughter, Malinda Willmore and her family in Franklin Twp., Randolph Co., IN. Lucinda's Death Certificate shows Malinda Willmore's husband, John, as the informant of her death. The Death Certificate shows New Mount Pleasant Cemetery as the burial location for Lucinda. No grave marker or memorial for her has been identified. William and Lucinda Carpenter were my 3rd great parents.
