Maxine was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church and a member of Tri-Kappa. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 East Washington Street with funeral services there Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
Maxine is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Boyd K. Pence; children, Michael D. Pence, Donna M. Stackhouse (Phil), Susan A. Flewelling (Chris); grandchildren, Curtis Yager (Christine), Andrew Pence, Stefanie Briggs (T.J.), Adam Pence (Lindsey), Sara Stackhouse, Brian Stackhouse (Marsha) and Paul Stackhouse; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Lucille Marso.
She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Max Klein; brother, Delbert Klein; sister, Ethel Johnson; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Pence.
