Member of the First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg; Spartanburg Rotary Club No. 215; Piedmont Club and the Cotillion Club.
Also surviving are a daughter, Fayssoux D. McLean; three sons, L. David Dunbar, III, James Gordon Dunbar and Russell Reed Dunbar; a sister Eleanor D. Lyda; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation was held at the home.
Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 24, 1992 in the sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg by the Revs. Todd Jones and C. Wayne Cole. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to the Paul Harris Fellowship or Mobile Meals Service, Spartanburg, SC.
