Married (1) Mr. Haslam, (2) Franklin Peale in 1839, a widow, and the niece of the wealthy Stephen Girard.

In April of 1873, Caroline Peale, Franklin's widow, gave the Mint a marble bust of her late husband, "to be set upon a pedestal, in some position, where it may be open to the inspection of visitors and preserve his memory to future generations." In 1966, one notes that the whereabout of the bust is uncertain.

Died at the residence: 1131 Girard Street in Philadelphia., where her husband died.
