Comora died as a result of childbirth, according to Madison County death records. There are records for her under the name "Nichols" and "Nicholson" but several of her siblings used the name "Nicol" or "Nichols." Her parents were definitely using the name "Nicol" at their deaths but records exist under "Nicholson."

Not sure why this is the case; perhaps there was a family disagreement of some type which caused some members to change their names?
