She was born Oct. 20, 1916, in Beaukist, to the late Samuel Albert and Hattie Merle Jones Dorris.
She was a member of St. Antony's Catholic Church and the Altar Society.
Survivors: daughter, Dorris Everett of Palacios; sisters, Joy Richey of Palacios and Gladys Wilson of Victoria; brother, Howard Dorris of Alvin; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: husband, John Fitzmorris; and parents.
A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Tuesday at Palacios Funeral Home chapel.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the Rev. Charles Dwomoh officiating.
Burial will be at Hawley Cemetery.
