TURPIN, Mary Powers, of Richmond, left this earth on Sunday, June 6, 2010. She is survived by her husband, James "Gene" Turpin; two sons, Chris Turpin and wife, Kym, and Jonathan D. Turpin and wife, Amy; and five grandchildren, James, William, Robert, Mary and Luke Turpin. The family will receive friends 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Avenue. Graveside services will be private.
