Durant ‘DN’ Nash Beauchamp, Sr., 93, of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday evening, February 5, 2019 in Weatherford.
A graveside committal service will be held at 1 P.M, on Friday, February 8, at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 5 until 7, Thursday evening, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford.
DN was born May 25, 1925, in Grapeland, Texas to Virgil and Minnie Beauchamp. He married Mary Helen Roden in August 1949. He was member of Millsap Baptist Church. DN enjoyed working in his garden, fishing, and playing dominos. He will affectionately be remembered as a hard worker who was devoted to his family.
DN is survived by his daughters, Lisa and husband Deke Brummett and Mary and husband Mike Stewart; grandchildren, Durant Nash III, Christopher, Jason, Joshua, Michael, Michelle, Veronica, Tabatha, John, and William; numerous great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and by his two daughters-in-law, Debbie Jean and Debbie Kaye Beauchamp.
In addition to his parents, DN was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen and by his children, Doris Ellen, John Ernest, and Durant Nash Beauchamp, Jr.
