AGE 87 YEARS
UNITED STATES ARMY VETERAN/ KOREAN WAR
Bernard G. Kolczynski, of Montoursville, passed away at ManorCare Health Services, North, on Feb. 5, 2019. He was a son of Frances and Catherine Szyblewski Kolczynski.
Bernard attended Duquesne University and was a graduate of Robert Morris Business College. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and as a CPA he served as CFO of Lamco Communication. Bernard enjoyed playing chess in his time off. In his youth, he played accordion in local bands in the Pittsburgh area
His wife of 58 years, the former Lillian H. Shimkets, died Sept. 28, 2010.
Surviving are his daughter, Janet M. Kolczynski of Montoursville; a son, Gary D. (Pamela) Kolczynski, of Bastress Township and 2 granddaughters.
In addition to his parents and wife, two sisters preceded him in death.
Burial at St. Boniface Cemetery.
