In Memory of Betty Jeanne Jendro
Betty Jeanne Jendro of Washougal, WA passed away on February 4, 2019. She was 92 years old. Betty was born on February 24, 1926 to parents John and Myrl Thomas in Cottonwood, South Dakota. In 1929, the family moved to Camas, Washington, where Betty graduated from Camas High School. She married David J. Jendro, and they settled in Washougal. They had two boys together. Betty held several jobs over the years in downtown Camas, including the Liberty Theater and Economy Drug.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband David Jendro, her brother, William Thomas, sister, Lois Bellinger and her parents, Mryl and John Thomas.
She is survived by her sons, David John Jendro (Teri) of Sunriver, Oregon and Thomas James Jendro (Rita) of Washougal, Washington, four grandchildren, one great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty’s life will be celebrated at Straub’s Funeral Home,325 NE 3rdAve Camas, WA 98607, on Saturday February 23rd, at 10:00AM. Private inurnment was at Camas Cemetery.
