Carolyn June Garver, of St. Joseph, left his life from her home on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the age of 88.
She was born June 16, 1930, to Wilson Lee and Ada Sontheimer Daily. Her mother died young and Geneva Richards Daily became her new mother.
She married Donald Garver in April 1967, in St. Joseph, and he preceded her in death.
Carolyn was dedicated to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, her family and her country. She enjoyed genealogy, traveling and quilting.
Carolyn is survived by: her daughter, Mary Margaret (Del) Weddle, of St. Joseph; brothers, W. Lee Daily III, of Oregon state and Charles (Sherrie) Daily, of Washington state; sister-in-law, Dixie Daily, of Utah; grandchildren, Sara Berry, Amy Cline-Shelton (Mike Shelton); great- grandsons, Jhett Kirschbaum, Garet Cline, Dakota Shelton, Gentry Cline, Colt Berry; and numerous nieces and nephews that she cherished.
Carolyn was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; son, Robert White; daughter-in-law, Carol White; granddaughter, Wendy Kirschbaum; grandson-in-law, Roger Kirschbaum; brother, Richard Daily; sisters- in- law, Patty Daily and Rose Daily; sister, Kathleen Payne; and brother-in-law, Elvin Payne.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in St Joseph.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4, at Gladden-Stamey Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Mount Auburn Cemetery, St. Joseph.
