Finis Turl Ramsey, of Yukon, OK, was born October 8, 1917 in Western Grove, AR, died May 30, 2007 in Yukon, OK. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty Jo (Olden) Ramsey; sister, Katherine (Ramsey) & husband Leroy Cashon of OKC; daughter, Sandra T. Little & husband James of St. Joseph, MI; son, Samuel Joe Ramsey of OKC; daughter, Cathey Sue Rogers of OKC; grandchildren, Lisa & Kevin Grow, Robert Little, Chris & Athena Rogers, Nathan & Kim Rogers, Laura & Eric Shannon; great-grandchildren, Kurt & Kent Little, Nicole & Chelsea Grow, Sean & Courtney Rogers, Hunter, Savannah, Dakota & Mackenzie Rogers; niece, Brenda Kelly; nephew, Tim Cashon and family. Finis was preceded in death by his parents, Alphus Pope and Viola Mae (Freeman) Ramsey; 5 sisters and 6 brothers. He retired in 1979 with 36 years service as a machinist for Oklahoma Natural Gas. Finis was a member of Village Baptist Church and a 60 year member of IOOF Organization of Bixby & Jenks, OK. He loved coaching little league baseball & basketball, golfing, bowling and raising Limousin cattle. He will be missed by all who knew him. The family will receive visitors Friday 7:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Village Baptist Church with interment in Yukon Cemetery.
