OBITUARY: Hartland News May 14, 1898 - "Lorenz Weber, aged 47 years, died on th old Cairncross farm, two miles north of Pewaukee village, Monday morning. Mr. Weber was born on the old homestead in the town of Lisbon forty-seven years ago and has resided there since. He leaves a widow, five sons and three daughters also three brothers and three sisters. The cause of his death was stomach trouble. The funeral took place from the residence Wednesday morning and the interment was at the Pewaukee cemetery."
