Regina M. Blan, 87, Town of Eaton, passed away on Feb. 13, 2008. Regina was born on Sept. 6, 1920, to the late Walter and Anna (Jurczykowski) Ostrenga in Green Bay. On Nov. 6, 1943, she was married to Thomas Blan. He preceded her in death in July 1960. Regina was a homemaker although, over the years, she worked many part-time jobs including many years at Eddie Whipps. Regina loved to visit. She loved visiting friends and family and having them visit her. She loved baking and had an especially good peanut butter cookie recipe which she unfortunately took with her. She also enjoyed working in her garden and canning.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Peter (Carol) Blan, Green Bay; son-in-law, Frank Glisch, Green Bay; four grandchildren, Paula Glisch, Patrick (Tammy) Blan, Chris (Lacey) Blan, Stephanie Blan; three great-grandchildren, Caitlin Glisch, Alyssa Blan, and Sienna Blan; one granddaughter-in-law, Karri Glisch. She is also survived by brothers and sisters, Toefil "Phil" (Joyce) Ostrenga, Ray (Rita) Ostrenga, Agnes Rebarchek, Rosie (Clarence) Van Pay, Susie Ullman, Edwina (Richard) Lealiou, Rita Kaster; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas; two daughters Theresa Blan and Mary Jane Glisch; her grandson, Mike Glisch; her great-grandson, Hunter Glisch; three brothers and one sister.

Friends may call on Saturday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 5930 Humboldt Rd., from 9 to 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Dean Dombroski officiating. Burial in SS.
