Carol B. Bowman, 63, died Aug. 14, 1993, in Portsmouth.

Mrs. Bowman was born in Bluefield, Va., and was a Presbyterian. She was active in the Salvation Army.

Survivors include her husband, Denny L. Bowman; two daughters, Deborah C. Gillis of Richmond and Donna B. Revolinsky of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Edith French of Bluefield, Va., Pearl Nipper of Marietta, Ga., and Betty Bowers of Marydel, Md.; two brothers, Cecil Breckenridge of Anderson, Ind., and Lewis Breckenridge of San Antonio, Texas; and four grandchildren, Shawn Prazeres and Matthew Gillis, both of Richmond, and Stephen Revolinsky and Michelle Revolinsky, both of Virginia Beach.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Capt. Rick Mikles. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
