She was a homemaker and worked in the produce department of the IGA grocery store, and at Flambeau Paper Mill in Park Falls until her retirement in 1980. She enjoyed cooking German dishes, and cherished her grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna (Gerald) Eder of West St. Paul, MN, Barbara (Richard) Parks of Edina, MN, and Linda (Tom Spear) Iberg of Prescott; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great- granddaughter; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; three sisters, Emma Marquette, Lucille Newell and Minnie Hilgart; two brothers, August and Otto Koenig; and a special friend, Gilbert "Fritz" Werth.
