Elwood L. McBride, age 76 of Idabel, Ok passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 in Texarkana. He was born on February 24, 1942 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Louis E. & Miriam (Hiner) McBride.
He was preceded in death by his parents Louis E. McBride(2005) and Miriam Jeanette (Hiner) McBride (2009), a brother Louis Edward "Eddie" McBride(2006), his sons Jeremy L. Fields-McBride (1975) and Floyd "Dale" McBride (2016), a grandson "Dusty" Eldon Don McBride, Jr. (2006) and a step granddaughter Victoria Elizabeth "Beth" Marcenkeincus (1994).
Elwood is survived by his wife Marcella (Fields) McBride and their two children a daughter Jennifer McBride Moore and a son Levi McBride all of Idabel and his three children; Eldon McBride and wife Amanda of Idabel, Kenneth McBride and wife Renee of Council Hill, Ok and Shelley (McBride) Lynch and husband Lee Lynch of Checotah, Ok with his first wife Betty (Neal) Curran, a step daughter Misty (Fields) Hudson, a sister Synovia (McBride) Lemmings of Cordell, Ok and a brother Dwight McBride and his wife Darla of Oklahoma City, Ok.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Idabel, OK. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the funeral home.
