Marilynn Leigh Alexander, 69, of Scotch Pine Dr. Sandston, Va. died on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at her residence. She was born March 13, 1949 in Charlottesville, Va. and was the daughter of the late Henry Willis Alexander and Mary Miles Alexander. She is survived by three sons Steve Alexander of Saluda, Richard Alexander and wife Shantese of Sandston, and Ollie "Trey" Wright of Smyrma, Ga; one grandchild Shaia Renee Alexander; three brothers Henry "Boone" W. Alexander Jr. and wife Renata of Gordonsville, Craig Alexander and wife Norma of Lorton, and William "Willie" Alexander and wife Teresa of Gordonsville; five sisters Sharon A. Hughes and husband Percy of Mt. Plains, NY, Jennifer Jackson and husband Franklin of Culpeper, Jacqueline Alexander of Dale City, Sheila Lewis of Orange, and Sonya Ford and husband Richard of Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at the Orange Assembly of God Church with Pastor Curtis Bowman officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Preddy Funeral Home of Orange.
