Jan. 9, 1915 Illinois State Journal: Died at 4:30 o'clock Friday morning, Jan. 8, 1915, at St. John's hospital, of pneumonia, Mrs. Jessie Redding, aged 19 years, of 923 South Eleventh street, the wife of John Redding. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the residence of the decedent's mother-in-law, Mrs. Evelyn Redding, at 1407 East Edwards street. The remains will be taken at 7:42 o'clock tomorrow morning to Athens, where final services will be held at the Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment will be made in West cemetery. Besides her husband the decedent is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Bridgewater, three sisters, Mrs. Molinda May Pence of Virden, Mrs. Della Andrews of this city and Miss Bertha Caroline Bridgewater of this city and three brothers, Grover, William and Frankie.
