Mr. Larry Cannon, age 65, of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Cannon was born in Rockingham County, North Carolina on December 6, 1951. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Russell Cannon and Cora Elizabeth McGehee Cannon. He moved to Griffin in 1982, he lived and worked for his family, loved life along with his family and friends, he loved motorcycles, was a creature of habit, up to work every day and breakfast at the same place. He was a shop foreman for United Rentals. Larry was loved and respected by many, he was a kind and generous soul who would help anyone he could when he could.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Briggs Cannon; son and daughter in law, Steve and Tonya Cannon, daughter, Kimberly Bass; grandchildren, Brooklynn Webb, Peyton Webb, Joshua Coronado, Jaiden Sherred, Sebastion Arnold, Emily Whitehurst; great grandsons, Thomas Atkins, Jonathan Atkins; brother, Cecil Cannon of Reidsville, N.C.; sisters, Cathy Roberson of Stoneville, N.C., and Mary Martin of Virginia; and his loving pet dog, Fred.

A visitation for Mr. Larry Junior Cannon will be on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
